Luana de Carvalho Silva Gusso is a Cultural Heritage and Society professor at Univille University. She received a bachelor´s degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Parana and another bachelor´s degree in Psychology from the Paraná State University. She also received her PHD in Law from the Paraná State University in 2012 and her PostDoctorade in Democracy and Human Rights from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra in 2013. She has written books and scientific articles in the Criminal Law and Psychology areas. In addition she teaches classes in the Faculty of Law at the Univille University. Gusso´s research focuses in Social Control, Culture, Violence and Human Rights.
